Terms of Service

Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and [Your name or business name] ("we," "us"), which runs Chaos Choreographer at getchaoschoreographer.com. By using the app you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

You must be 18 or older to create an account. The app is for parents, guardians and team parents, not for children to use themselves.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep your email account secure, since anyone who can read your email can sign in. Tell us right away at hello@getchaoschoreographer.com if you think someone else has used your account.

The free month

Your free month lasts 30 days. If you use the app without an account, it starts the first time you open the app on that device. If you create an account, it starts when you create it. You don't need to enter a card to use the free month, and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.

When the free month ends, the app asks you to choose a plan to keep using it. Your season stays saved either way.

Plans, billing and renewal

• Monthly: $4.99 per month.
• Yearly: $39.99 per year.

Prices are in U.S. dollars, plus any sales tax that applies where you live. If you subscribe during your free month, your first charge happens when the free month ends.

Your plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and the card you gave Stripe is charged the same price, until you cancel. Stripe emails you a receipt for each payment. For yearly plans, we'll remind you by email before it renews.

If we ever change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.

If a payment fails, Stripe will try again over a few days. If it still can't be collected, your plan ends and the app asks you to choose a plan again.

Canceling and refunds

You can cancel anytime: in the app, open your account, tap Your plan, then Manage subscription. You can also email us. When you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the month or year you already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

Payments aren't refunded for partial months or years, except where the law requires it. If something went wrong, like a charge you didn't expect, email us at hello@getchaoschoreographer.com within 30 days and we'll make it right.

Your content

What you add to the app (your children's first names, comps, practices, packing lists, notes and money tracker) belongs to you. You give us permission to store it and show it to you, and to show the parts you share to your team, only so we can run the app for you. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.

Teams and team parents

• Only share team codes with families on your team.
• Team parents: only import contact info for families on your team, use it only for team communication, and remove anyone who asks.
• Keep updates and sign-ups respectful. Don't post anything harassing, hateful, private about someone else, or unlawful.
• Don't post last names, addresses or other details about children.

We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.

Using the app fairly

Please don't try to break, overload or get around the app's security, read other families' information, or resell the app. Don't use it for anything unlawful.

Changes to the app

We're always improving Chaos Choreographer, so features may change. If we ever shut the app down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice, refund any unused time on a yearly plan, and help you keep a copy of your season.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep the app accurate and running, but it's provided "as is." Always double-check important times, like call times and payment due dates, with your gym or event. We aren't responsible for missed events, late fees or other costs that come from relying on the app.

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can delete your account anytime in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close your account for a reason other than breaking these terms, we'll refund any unused time on a paid plan.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll show a notice in the app or email you before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law and contact
